More Than Bread Devotional for 3/6/12

10 The Lord has bared his holy arm
before the eyes of all the nations,
and all the ends of the earth shall see
the salvation of our God.  – Isaiah 52:10

Depending on your perspective, this could either be really exciting or really terrifying.  The Lord’s arm is an reference to His strength and power.  Isaiah is telling of God’s power to save.  This is an awesome thing.  But to those who reject salvation, or rather more often for those who prefer not to contemplate the necessity of salvation at all; the idea of God calling upon His power to make it happen can be sobering indeed.  But the ends of the earth will see what God has done and amazingly enough, you and I have a part in making this happen.  We are His witnesses for this great salvation.  Use your feet to carry the beautiful news that there is a Savior to someone today.
