More Than Bread Devotional for 2/7/12

5“Look among the nations, and see;
wonder and be astounded.
For I am doing a work in your days
that you would not believe if told.  – Habakkuk 1:5

I am not sure that everyone is honest enough to admit this, but as it turns out, God is often doing things that we find hard to believe – maybe more so when He tells us before He does it(which isn’t all that often in my case anyway).  Sometimes it is because we question His timing.  Sometimes it might be because we question His method.  Despite the fact that both our personal experiences and the testimony of Scripture attest to the faithfulness and dare I say, the perfectness, of God’s work and plan; we can get a little antsy sometimes.  I can’t always tell you what is going on, or even what is about to happen.  But I can tell you that the more “unbelievable” it is, the more fun it usually is to talk about later.
