More Than Bread Devotional for 8/26/11

Psalm 112:7
He will have no fear of bad news;
his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord .

I heard someone saying the other day “Don’t forget in the dark what you learned in the light.” But today I thought best to remember what I learned in the dark while I was currently in the light. Sometimes when our lives are going along with relative ease we can forget the promises we clung so tightly to in the dark. But God is just as faithful to us in the good times as bad. So do not cease to praise Him in the light just as easily as in the dark.
