More Than Bread Devotional for 8/5/11

1 Peter 4:10
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

It’s important to remember that God has not called us all to do the same things. Not all of us are suppossed to be the great evangelist/preacher. Not all of us are gifted to sing or write or play an instrument. Your gift is that thing you do that seems so easy to you but is not so easy to others. We are called to use that gift… no matter how easy or insignificant it seems… to God’s glory. If you aren’t using your gift to administer God’s grace then you are missing the boat. Also if you aren’t using your gifts you are missing out on God’s greatest blessings.
