More Than Bread Devotional for 6/3/11

Ecclesiastes 4:10-12
If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

A lot of problems that we have in life come at us when we isolate ourselves from the world. Friends serve as a cushion from the blows of the outside world. If you have a good friend you have an incredible blessing. If you have more than one you have found a goldmine. Give thanks to God today for the friends in your life who help you up and keep you warm. Make this friendship appreciation day.
