14For God speaks in one way,
and in two, though man does not perceive it.
15In a dream, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falls on men,
while they slumber on their beds,
16then he opens the ears of men
and terrifies them with warnings,
17that he may turn man aside from his deed
and conceal pride from a man;
18he keeps back his soul from the pit,
his life from perishing by the sword. – Job 33:14-18
The funniest thing happened Sunday. I had preached my sermon and we kept finding that different points from my sermon were repeated and restated around us during the day. It was one of those times when you get the feeling that God is trying to get your attention. It wasn’t anything earth shattering. In fact, part of the message was about the fact that God speaks to each of us through His Word and has a way of making sure we get the message we need from Him. I used to pray that God would make things obvious for me at times because I can be a little “thick-headed.” Maybe you can relate to that feeling. What I have certainly found and what God’s Word will confirm is that God will make Himself known on-time every time. Listen for His voice and obey Him when you hear it.
