More Than Bread Devotional for 2/1/11

The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.  – Deuteronomy 29:29

I am going to give you a very simple application for this verse.  You can’t do anything about anything that you don’t know anything about, and its corollary is you ought to do something about some things that you know something about.  Or to put it another way, God doesn’t let us in on everything He knows, but He has revealed Himself and all the things we do need to know for life both here and eternal.  Go with what you know.
