More Than Bread Devotional for 7/10/08

Mark 5:31-32
31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’”
32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.

I read this and something really stuck out at me.  Jesus was in a huge crowd.  There were a million things going on around Him.  But in the midst of all of that, He noticed a touch from one woman in the crowd.  The verses before said that she had already been healed even before Jesus said a word to her.  So Jesus didn’t have to mention it or point it out.  But in doing so, He teaches us something amazing.  No matter how small the detail may be, it doesn’t escape His notice.  You may be feeling like something in your life is too small for God to notice or care about, but I can assure you that isn’t true.  He loves you and sees you and knows you and cares about it.  More than that, He cares about you.
